The Police & Crime Commissioner has a say...

We’re excited to share some positive news from our recent meeting with the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC). The PCC expressed a strong desire to work more closely with Neighbourhood Watch Schemes across Dyfed-Powys.


This is a significant development for our community. By collaborating more closely with the PCC, we can leverage their resources and expertise to enhance our crime prevention efforts and make our neighbourhoods even safer.


Some of the key areas we discussed include:

• Increased communication and collaboration: We will be working to improve communication channels and foster stronger partnerships between Neighbourhood Watch and the police.
• Shared resources: The PCC has committed to providing resources and support to Neighbourhood Watch groups, such as training, equipment, and funding.
• Joint initiatives: We will be exploring opportunities for joint initiatives, such as community events, crime prevention campaigns, and patrols.
